Careers

This is not for everyone. It might be for you.

We're building Yawash to become the standard that marketing in Iraq is measured against — proof that world-level, honest, strategy-led work can be made here, by people from here. That's an ambitious thing to build, and it asks a particular kind of person.

What we hold ourselves to

  • 01

    We hold the line, together

The work moves hand to hand — strategy to creative to production to the client — and every pair of hands is holding something the next pair is waiting for. So we ask two things at once: hold your part of the line, and never let a teammate hold theirs alone. Reliability isn't negotiable wherever someone depends on you. And we cover for each other, teach each other, and don't leave anyone carrying something they can't lift.

  • 02

    Ownership is foresight, not heroics

The hero who saves the deadline at midnight usually means something upstream already broke. Real ownership is quieter and earlier: seeing on Monday that the deadline is at risk, and saying so, so the midnight never comes. We care about preventing the fire, not running into it.

  • 03

    Be the reference

Be the person a teammate learns from. Be the work a client points to. Be the one who sets the bar in the room instead of waiting to be told where it is. An agency becomes the reference for a market only when its people have each decided to be a reference for one another.

  • 04

    We're never finished

We'd rather work beside someone still hungry than someone already finished. We want people who study what they don't yet know and are visibly better at their craft month over month. Standing still is the one thing we refuse to get good at.

Who this isn't for

If you want a place where a big enough name excuses a bad enough attitude, this isn't it.

If you'd rather be praised for heroics than trusted for foresight, you'll be quietly disappointed here.

And if you'd rather win the client than tell the client the truth, we're honestly not the right people to work beside.

Who this is for

But if you want to do the best work of your life beside people who are serious about the craft and decent to each other — who'll tell you the truth, cover for you when you've earned it, and hold you to a standard because they respect you enough to — then you've found the right room.

No public list this week. The door is still open.

We're always open to the right people. Introduce yourself — who you are, and the work you want to be trusted with. A real person reads it.
